We had already been fans of Rebekah's work for years before she reached out to us about this project! After having a DIY brand for many years, she felt it was time for a change and wanted to build a visual identity that not only set her apart in a crowded industry, but also felt emotionally connected to her work.

Behind the Brand

Rebekah J is known for the beautiful contrast found in her pieces. Using materials and forms that are both rough and soft at the same time. Structural, but also fluid. So we wanted to bring that contrast to life through her new brand identity. Here are a few areas of the design direction that guided us:

Communicating her brand values around vulnerability, authenticity and connection.
Going with a bolder logo font to capture the weight of her pieces (not dainty like many other jewelers).
Incorporating some of the geometric shapes from her work in to the letterforms of the logo. And then translating those to a fun brand pattern that can be used across marketing materials and packaging.
Capturing a brand personality that feels warm, supportive and empathetic.
